The first par 3, if a hole of this length can be termed a par 3.  Played into the prevailing wide, the hole plays longer than it's 200+ yards, recognised by the ladies, who have this as a par 4.

The hole is downhill. it's one saving grace, leading to the green through a gap in the hedge and over 2 bunkers.  A steep bank at the back guards against the overhit shot.

There is a bail out area before the hedge, but that leaves a very steeply up hill second shot, and the probability of a 4.

The green is cut into the hillside, and generally slopes that way, but there are undulations built in.
