  Senior Section

Welcome to the Senior Section of the Coed-Y-Mwstwr Golf Club, the section was established shortly after the opening of the club in 1994.

Over the years we have grown in numbers and at present we have in excess of sixty members with between twenty five and thirty turning up every week.

All members of the club aged 55 years and over are eligible to join provided they pay a small subscription, which will also provide them with very good golf insurance.

We meet every Tuesday, for a competition for our members teeing off between

 9.30 am – 11.00 am where players of mixed abilities play against each other in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere.

Our captain and all the members would be only too pleased to invite you to join us on a Tuesday, for a round of golf.

During the summer a number of section competitions are held with some being medal play which enables our members to maintain a true handicap within the club.

Our calendar also includes a number of home and away matches against other senior  sections  from other clubs in the South Wales area where we are able to play other courses for a nominal fee, and renew old friendships and make new ones.

If you are a senior member of your club and are in the area please drop in and pay us a visit on a Tuesday. Our club is renowned for its friendliness and hospitality, (as can be seen below)  we are pleased to be part of a club and course which is improving by the day.
